My journey began in Kozhikode, where I cultivated a deep-rooted passion for both business and community service. In 1999, I arrived in Palakkad with a clear vision—not just to grow a successful business, but to create lasting, positive change for the people around me.
With a solid foundation built during my early days at the Malabar Chamber of Commerce, I quickly realized that true leadership extends beyond the boardroom. It’s about standing up for what’s right, advocating for those who need a voice, and taking decisive action when others hesitate.
Over the years, I’ve dedicated myself to blending my entrepreneurial spirit with a commitment to public service. Whether it’s addressing persistent town planning & infrastructure issues or advocating for the rights of the underrepresented, I’ve always believed that progress is measured by the tangible improvements in people’s lives. I’m driven by a simple yet powerful belief: leadership is about making a difference where it matters most.

Passion for Progress, Commitment to Justice
Priyadarshini Road, one of the busiest parts of Palakkad Town, has always had a persistent issue with road flooding, with local authorities turning a blind eye to petitions from the townspeople. Amidst the cold response from authorities, I took legal action to push for deep drainage systems. This led to a landmark court order, and today, the problem has been completely resolved.
When stray animals started posing dangers to drivers and pedestrians, and hazardous manholes and abandoned toll booths threatened our safety, I couldn’t just stand by. I took these concerns to the Human Rights Commission and rallied local authorities to act. Through collective effort and unyielding persistence, we transformed these risks into a safer environment for all.
In times of crisis, quick and decisive action can make all the difference. Whether it was removing hazardous iron structures at Palakkad Town Stand or swiftly restoring traffic flow after a major accident in Sultanpet, I’ve always made it my priority to be there when my community needs me most. My commitment to emergency response isn’t just about being prepared; it’s about being proactive.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I volunteered at district hospitals, schools, and other critical sites, doing all I could to help. I also coordinated with the Medical College Director to transfer patients to Mangalore Medical College, ensuring they received the care they needed. My efforts were recognized by the district police, but the true reward was knowing I could make a difference when it mattered most.

Social worker and plywood businessman Nikhil Kodiyathur received the 2024 Best Humanitarian Award from JCI Zone 28,Alumni Club (JCI). He gained significant public attention through projects including 'Happy Life.'
